BEIRUT: Attacks by groups in the extremist-controlled Syrian region of Idlib have killed 20 government troops and allied fighters in three days, a monitoring group said Tuesday.
The flare-up, which also left some extremists dead and displaced thousands of people, is one of the deadliest since a truce deal was reached in September last year to spare the region a massive government assault.
